Author's Note
A lone salmon trying to make it over Bailey's Chute. Between August and the end of September the salmon try to make it up this impossible part of the river. As wild as it looks in this photo it is worse just ahead. The salmon eventually give up, spawn and die without making it any further up river.
Shooting Conditions
Getting later in the day with the sunlight waning.
