very good composition. Stuff on the left side appears a bit distracting to me...

Agree about the partial view of the frame on the left — somewhat distractive.
Great photo, nonetheless. Composition is great. Focus on the mirror is interesting, good light.

i have to disagree with both of you, the frames on the right and left only work together and are necessary.

@Veniamin Kostitsin-Teterin: how about the bits of golden frame molding on the left?

P.S.
once we have image crop tool, it'll be much easier to show such things

Looks like a scene from Interview With a Vampire.

@Daniil : one of the movies i always consider inspirational when it comes to images. beautiful photography. i also highly recommend "Vanity Fair" and "Dangerous Liaisons" albeit the latter is already slightly dusty, but i consider it a classic

Veniamin, it´s my personal impression only, not more...
sure you can use the golden ornaments of the mirror as a frame for the scenario and if this is your intention I agree that the left side belongs to the story. In that case I´d show a bit more of it and I´d also even the vertical mirror frame lines. I´m well aware that not all lines necessarily have to be even. Using uneven lines can be an attracting item, too. But it appears somewhat done not on purpose to me in this case.

I once again would like to emphasize that this is my personal and humble opinion only
